I have a neck pillow recommendation! It helped me TREMENDOUSLY on our trek to Iceland last summer! It's not one of those U-shaped pillows- it's an infinity pillow. It allows you to snuggle up and rest your head comfortably and provides a comfy spot to nestle your arms!
On a recent flight from Houston to Munich, we had a mini memory foam pillow (business class, thanks to my hubby!) and it was SO great. Now looking for one for home . . .
I’ve seen these before and never bought one…because every other neck pillow has failed me🤣. I’ve taken to squishing a whole ass pillow in a stuff sack and pulling it out mid flight….this👆🏻, this would be easier lol I’m gonna give it a try, thank you!!
Ladies, I see you a neck pillow (mine arrived and is currently packed for my trip😂)…and raise you n airplane pocket organizer lol. Just got it, looks amazing and will be using it this weekend.
Omg I neeeeed this! I’ve tried the horseshoe pillows and they never worked for me. But this! As a big pillow snuggler every night, I feel like it WOULD work. Thank ya for the rec, purchasing rn! 💤!!!
Was stuck in the ATL/EWR mess a few weeks ago. Getting mad at the gate staff or crew is silly. Control what you can control. I have a loaded kindle or several physical books and magazines. I have a large backpack that doubles as a ruck. I don’t use the people mover and if I can walk between terminals I do. Always go to the bathroom right before boarding! Turbulence has been worsening and you don’t want to have to go but pilot won’t let you up.
Great tips! Haven’t been traveling much lately but made a 16 hr. Trek from NZ to USA a few years ago with a 7 yo, 4yo and 9 month old. My littlest slept in my arms for the entire 12 hour overseas stretch and I chose not to drink a drop of water because I was scared of having to wake her to use to restroom. 😆 I literally did not move from my seat the entire flight. Looking back, I realize I should have stretched beforehand
Nope! Powder in their containers. I’ve only been stopped once by TSA and we had a good chat about strength training as he swabbed it. Then he gave it back. :)
This is such a practical and insightful post for anyone who travels frequently! Having explored over 40 countries myself, I can absolutely relate to the evolution of your travel gear and self-care rituals. Thanks for sharing your go-to gear.
Okay I cannot find the thread I commented in so I’m here instead BUT I’m in week 6 of started the Ladder App and I found it - the pink cloud - as a recovering former runner - I am so relieved and so happy. Thanks for sharing ALL the good stuff!!!

Yes, yes, yes. Bathroom access (for stretching and otherwise) is the reason I always book an aisle seat when one is available!

My back hurts by proxy! Moms…superhuman!!! 💪
For real 😆
These are fabulous tips, thank you! When you travel, do you bring along your creatine and EAAs in capsule form?

awesome list, love it. i’ll have two daughters in their teenage years in about 10+ years so i’ll have to remember the face mask tip!
It starts at about 11 years old. 😅

I'm so glad it was helpful, Lukas! Took me about 100 plane trips to lock it up tight. :)
100 plane trips – that's some serious dedication! 😄

Aww this makes me so happy, Elizabeth…so glad you’re having fun in the app! Love my Body&Bell Ladder workouts. Which team/coach are you training with?
And now I have 10 open tabs for all the recs I want to purchase, and am considering trying to Bullet Journal once again! 🤣🤦🏻♀️
great read as I sit in the airport today! love your suggestions!
