Love this and so accurate! I retired about a year and half ago. I went from structured mornings to no structure and it was great! I started volunteering and found my enjoyment peace which has led down a road of getting a certification. Learning is more challenging at 50 than it is at 20! I’ve learned that I learn best in the mornings therefore my workouts shifted to the the afternoons. I was never an afternoon person for working out! Now I love that time and so does my body.
It’s all about #5 for me. A way to remind myself I’m a human being, not a human doing. I tend to be type A when it comes to getting shit done. Feeling productive isn’t the problem. It’s remembering to feel human, that’s what I need to work on most
